Zippy Plow Weapon Skin Set (and promotional imagery)
Summary of creation process
This particular weapon skin is is based on old 1950's/60's tractors, but with a menacing flair, made up of 18 unique 2048x2048 textures in total, all meticulously worked on throughout a couple of months in my free time. Each of the 18 textures were worked on on average for around 2-3 weeks non-stop. This is because these skins are made in a way that allow for MANY details to be added, such as reflective exhaust holes that when brought into dark areas will make the holes look 3D, except the holes on the textures are actually just 2D but achieved with clever perspective and lighting trickery to pull off a 3D look to them. These weapon skins have gained over 27,000+ views and continues to grow with a 91% upvote ratio on Valves steam workshop.
